- 130 grams Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 500 grams Fruit
Preparation
- 1Put water, sugar, and lemon juice into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for a few minutes until a syrup forms that no longer contains sugar crystals.
- 2Prepare the fruit, meaning clean, wash, and chop it depending on the variety. Puree finely (if there are many seeds, you might want to strain it through a sieve).
- 3Mix the sugar syrup with the fruit puree and let everything cool down. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the instructions (takes approx. 20-60 minutes depending on the device). Alternatively, put it into a suitable container and freeze for 3-5 hours, stirring vigorously every 30-60 minutes.
