Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh strawberries
  • 200 g Crème fraîche
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp whole milk
  • 5 Lotus Biscoff biscuits
  • 8 leaves fresh mint

Preparation

    Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Stir the vanilla seeds together with the powdered sugar into the crème fraîche and whip briefly.

    Roughly chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler with a splash of milk. Add the empty vanilla pod and finely chopped mint to the chocolate and let it steep for about 10 minutes so that the flavors can develop. Then remove the vanilla pod.

    Wash the strawberries and carefully pat them dry. Remove the green and cut the bottom of the strawberries slightly flat so they can stand. Incise the top of the strawberries crosswise, but do not cut all the way through.

    Dip the strawberries from the bottom up to halfway into the melted chocolate and let them set briefly. Then carefully fill the vanilla crème fraîche into the opening of the strawberries. Sprinkle with crumbled Lotus biscuits and serve immediately.

Tipp: Für ein noch intensiveres Aroma können Sie die Schokolade mit einer Prise Meersalz verfeinern. Die Erdbeeren sollten zimmerwarm sein, damit die Schokolade optimal haftet.
