Preparation method
First, line a plate with baking paper. Wash the cherries, dry them well, and (optionally) pit them. Dip each cherry individually into the natural yogurt until fully coated, and place it on the baking paper. Put the plate in the freezer for at least 45 minutes until the yogurt is firm.
Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate together with the coconut oil in a bain-marie. To do this, fill a pot with a little water and place a heatproof bowl on top (the bowl should not touch the water). Heat the water gently until it steams.
Break the chocolate into pieces and place it in the bowl. Gently melt, stirring occasionally, until a smooth, glossy mixture forms. Remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool briefly.
Chef's tip
Instead of cherries, you can also use strawberries, raspberries, or banana slices. For a vegan version, simply replace the yogurt with a plant-based alternative.
