Drain the chickpeas in a sieve and rinse with water. Dry thoroughly on a clean dish towel or paper towel.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Mix the chickpeas with olive oil and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Transfer the hot chickpeas to a bowl and mix with salt, sweet paprika powder, and smoked paprika powder. Return the chickpeas to the baking tray and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
