Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 210 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Drain the chickpeas in a sieve, rinse thoroughly with cold water, and then pat them very dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel. The drier the chickpeas are, the crispier they will become.

Place the dry chickpeas in a bowl. Add the paprika powder (smoked for an intense aroma or sweet for a milder note), 2 tablespoons of oil, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well until the chickpeas are evenly coated.

Chef's tip

For additional variety, you can also add cumin, garlic powder, or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
