Preparation method

Finely dice the onion and sauté it in a pan with the crushed garlic and a little pepper until golden brown.

Add the chopped tomatoes and fresh basil, season with salt, and simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Then blend the sauce into a smooth cream.

Halve the cherry tomatoes, sauté briefly, and add them to the sauce along with the butter. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
